Note: This post is informal, not like those I usually posted. This will be a post full of Singlish, hope you don't mind.

Today I stayed in school till 4.45pm. First reason is to stay with friends for a longer time. Second reason is to stay with 02. Third reason is to wait till 3pm No.18 will come to school. The forth reason is not a reason actuall, just an EXCUSE- reading and taking down notes. It's quite an enjoyful day lar, but my SA1 result is like *Gah Nah Sai* lor... I dropped 10 marks man! Omg... That's all due to the decreasing of my Math mark! Wah, Math pulled me down by 10 marks this time... Who ask me not to do corrections, don't pay attention in class, take teacher for granted etc. Okay, whatever lar.

Today I didn't meet my main 'charger', Wei Liang. But nevermind, although my battery is only 80% full, I lived through today. Oh yea, you might be wondering what nonsense I am spouting, now I'm going to introduce my 'chargers' to you.

Main charger- Ang Wei Liang
Sub-charger 1- No.21 which only gives me 80% energy when met
Sub-charger2- No.02 which only gives me 50% energy when met
Sub-charger3- No.18 which only gives me 30% energy when met

People/Things that will 'use up' my battery.
1. Didn't do homework-Use up 20%
2. Bad result-Use up 60%
3. See l*** rival-Depend on which one, if like the No.18 l*** rival, 20% energy will be charged due to 'angryness'.

Done, one more thing to say, my 02 is sooo poor thing... SIGH

The Earthquake in Sichuan

The 2008 Sichuan earthquake occurred at 14:28:04.1 CST (06:28:04.1 UTC) on 12 May 2008, with its epicenter in Wenchuan County (Chinese: ; Pinyin: Wènchuān Xiàn), Sichuan province of the People's Republic of China. It had a magnitude of 7.8 Ms according to the State Seismological Bureau of China and 7.9 Mw according to the United States Geological Survey. The epicenter was 90 kilometres (55 miles) west-northwest of Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan. The earthquake was felt as far away as Beijing and Shanghai, where office buildings swayed with the tremor. The earthquake was also felt in Pakistan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Official figures (as of May 14) state that 14,866 are confirmed dead, while the Xinhua news agency reported that 19,565 (including 7,700 in Yingxiu near the epicenter) are dead and 26,206 injured. Thousands are missing, many of them buried, and eight provinces were affected. These figures are likely to rise sharply, as a clearer picture emerges. It was the deadliest and strongest earthquake to hit China since the 1976 Tangshan earthquake, which killed approximately 250,000 people.

The earthquake occurred as the result of motion on a northeast striking reverse fault or thrust fault on the northwestern margin of the Sichuan Basin. The earthquake’s epicenter and focal-mechanism are consistent with it having occurred as the result of movement on the Longmenshan fault or a tectonically related fault. The earthquake reflects tectonic stresses resulting from the convergence of crustal material slowly moving from the high Tibetan Plateau, to the west, against strong crust underlying the Sichuan Basin and southeastern China.

On a continental scale, the seismicity of central and eastern Asia is a result of northward convergence of the
Indian Plate against the Eurasian Plate with a velocity of about 50 mm/y. The convergence of the two plates is broadly accommodated by the uplift of the Asian highlands and by the motion of crustal material to the east away from the uplifted Tibetan Plateau. The northwestern margin of the Sichuan Basin has previously experienced destructive earthquakes. The magnitude 7.5 earthquake of August 25, 1933 killed more than 9,300 people.

May God bless all the people involved in the
earthquake and pray that more survivors will be rescued
and the number of deaths may decrease. God bless...
