Chinese Orchestra again!

Hmm, today I went to CO. Sigh... Although I felt quite happy at the beginning, sad thoughts ran through my mind the minute before 4.30pm, which was the time to end the lesson. Haiz... When can I play a song with them again? Seriously, I asked myself this question. I am just a lousy one in guzheng because yea, not boasting, being a leader is something you never be happy doing.

The first guzheng leader of Yu Neng was Wen Xin. I have no doubt for her skill. She's really a pro at the instrument. But what made her so sad and angry that she threw her temper was being a leader. The second leader was Janelle Pang. Ask Ji Ba if don't know who she is. She even shedded tears being a leader. The third leader, me. I tell you. If I join any CCA again, I will never join guzheng. I will definitely choose chinese orchestra.

Reason is simple. Gu zheng essemble consists of only GU ZHENGs.

People in guzheng are fighting terribly for the leader place. People can sacrifice EVERYTHING just to achieve the position. They always play anyhow and tried to "show off" their talents by playing super fast and looked like they could play songs that were challenging. Outstanding others was like the mission of them.

If those girls played fast and was out of the track, the teacher would blame the leader. If suddenly some crazy people made those crazy sounds when they pressed the strings, the teacher blamed the leader. If those 'outstanding' ones challenged each other, the teacher blamed the leader. Everything leader's fault.

What does leader mean to me? Last time it really meant a lot to me. I came home crying for 1 hour after teacher announced the leader was Jaslyn. Not because I hated Jaslyn, but I was damn disappointed that I put in so much effort and it all went down to waste. In the end, I managed to snatch it back and now, you see, there's nothing better.

Being in an orchestra, at least you have the conductor, showing you rhythm and when not to play. It's so much better. In orchestra you are like in a big family. Everybody cooperates and help one another. Unlike guzheng, everybody is so 'dark'.

Most of all, in orchestra you feel the feeling of freedom. The way you can enjoy with the conductor and with all your 'family members' surrounding you and giving you supports. No fighting of leader position, no one try to 'outstand' one another. That's the spirit. That's why I love chinese orchestra! Everybody is equal, everybody is at the same rank.

Yea, there are also my Wei Liang and *ahem*. Hehe. Today I realised Zhi An is sooooo funny when he blows his dizi. Oh my god, he's really very very fierce and funny!!!! And during the break he showed Wei Liang how his teacher blows dizi. It was damn funny!~ Look at his eyes and his expression, he looks like a pervert. Although his teacher may look like he's enjoying the music.

Ok enough co. Now I am going to talk about WEI LIANG!!!

I talked to him yesterday. Look:
Me: Hi Wei Liang
WL: Hello, bye bye.
Me: Oi, I haven't finish my words leh.
WL: What you want to say
Me: Erm, how much is your dizi har?
WL: (Pause for 7 seconds) $80
Me: (Had nothing to say) Oh, very expensive hor
WL: Not really. If you want to buy cheap one also have. Only cost you $20.
Me: $20 is good
WL: But hor, those dizi are not good lar. Haven't use for 3 days broken liao.
Me: Hmm... It's better to buy the $80 one right.
WL: Yea of course.
Me: Let me see your dizi.
WL: Don't want
Me: I swear I won't spoil it
WL: Okay, take it. Now I'm going to toilet. Return me once I am back.
(Hand over the dizi)
Me: It's damn long leh
WL: 不要弄破笛墨!
**笛墨 is something pasted on the dizi which is sooo 'weak' that it will be torn once you touch it.

(Playing with the dizi)
WL:(Beside me) I think I don't want to go le.
Me: Go lar go lar.
WL: Hehe, now give me back.
Me: I don't care, you go toilet lar!
(He went to the loo)
(I and Jaslyn immediately hid his dizi between our guzhengs)
(Wei Liang came back looking for his dizi)
WL: You took my dizi?
Me: I placed it back just now
WL: How come, it's gone!
Me: How would I know lar. Your thing leh
WL: Shit...(Looking very worried, ran around looking for it)
(Jaslyn could not control herself and burst into laughter)
(Wei Liang walked towards my guzheng and his eyes shone)
WL: Aiya, I saw it.
Jaslyn: You took so long to see!!!
(Took back his dizi and the conductor came so we needed to get ready)

Hahaha, isn't he cute???~~ Sooo cute!

Winnie's post

Saw this post at Winnie's blog.

Wahaha!!~!!!

1)Rong's blog
Rong's blog is all about love, results and her country. As she is a girl full of love, she seriously falls deeply in someone. She amazes me greatly, but maybe this is due to our ages. She has many many people whom she loves, and sadly, I cannot keep up with it. Her latest is no.21, whom i'm glad to say that I know who he is. She often boggle our minds, making us curious of who her NO.s are.
Love for her country too, especially with the up-to-date updates on her home country, China and its recent earthquake. And she is a lover of romance (just like me),but only that our sources are different,I go to books and she goes to movies. She pens down her critics on the latest serials she's finished watching and of course, an avid fan of love-triangles (but still happy endings) Korean Dramas. She also does recommend songs that cheers her up.You should go to her blog if you're curious about how powerful the love of a girl can be : )
Needs improvement on: Lesser on looong synopsis on her movies, and more about your Darlings!Everyone loves a little gossip :)
Lesser on emo posts : )

失事直升机烈士

I went to QQ News to read about the earthquake. One title made me so shocked...

There's a little girl in the photo. She's the daughter of one of the pilots. She's only 2-year-old and when she saw her father's 'photo' she said," Ba ba, ba ba" (Original: 29岁的空中机械师陈林的妻子带着不满两岁的女儿出席大会,女儿看见爸爸的遗照直喊“爸爸!爸爸!”。)

That is really a sad scene... I don't believe you won't cry upon seeing this.
